Article 1
These Standards are enacted according to Paragraph 2 of Article 22 of the Freedom of Government Information Law(hereinafter referred to as the “Law”).
Article 2
The fee for viewing, copying, or photographing government information is NT$20 for two hours , time spent less than two hours is counted as two hours.
Article 3
The fee for duplicating or copying government information shall be charged in accordance with The Standard Table of Fees for Duplicating or Copying Government Information (see attachment).
In the preceding paragraph not specified in these Standards, fees shall be charged according to the cost of duplication or copying.

Article 4
If the applicant requests the duplicated or copied government information to be sent by mail, the actual mailing expenses shall be charged.
Article 5
The applicant that requests for the government information for academic research or public welfare purposes must attach relevant documents at the time of application. Upon approval, the applicant must pay for the mailing costs; whereas other fees shall be charged at half price.
Article 6
Duplication of government information for business or education promotions stipulated in Subparagraph 1 of Article 12 of the Charges and Fees Act shall be free of charge.
Article 7
The fees set out in these Standards shall be charged in compliance with budgetary procedures.
Article 8
These Standards shall be in force from the date of the enforcement of the law.
